Overview

Managing vendors at a convention is a process that traditionally lives in spreadsheets, email threads, and paper forms. Confanum replaces all of it with a structured workflow: vendors fill out an application form on your WordPress site, you review and approve submissions from the admin dashboard, assign them a booth type with configured pricing and add-ons, and their listing flows automatically into a searchable directory on both your website and the mobile app.

The booth configuration system lets you define booth types (Standard, Corner, Double, Island), each with a base price and available add-ons (electricity, extra tables, Wi-Fi, early load-in). When you approve a vendor, you assign them a booth type and any add-ons β€” the total calculates automatically. Vendors can also select their preferences during the application process.

Once approved, vendors get access to a self-service portal where they can update their listing information (business name, description, categories, photos, social links), view their booth assignment, and check event logistics. On the map, their booth location appears as a tappable pin so attendees can find them easily. The WordPress plugin provides both a vendor directory block for your website and a vendor portal block for the self-service experience.
